Shirley June Covell 66 of Acworth, Georgia, passed away on Friday morning, October 19, 2007.

Shirley was born in Chenango County on June 29, 1941 the daughter of the late Harvey Covell Sr. and Rose Freelove. She was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter in Deposit, NY.

Shirley is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Brian) O'Connell, Oxford, N.Y., Bekki (Cara Pellino) Barlow, Acworth, Julie (Joe) Mace, Acworth; brothers, Harvey (Claudia) Covell, Kernersville, N.C., Patrick (Mary) Covell, Walton, N.Y.; Steven (Beth) Covell, Kernersville, N.C., Gary Freelove, Cortland, N.Y., William Freelove, Florida; sisters, Kathy (Scott) Davis, Otego, N.Y., Helen (Richard) Trimm, Cortland, N.Y.; stepmother, Eleanor Covell; grandson, Connor Mace, Acworth.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
