Steven Frederick Northrup, 58 of Walton, NY died Friday August 16, 2024, After a long illness at Albany Medical Center, Albany NY.

Steven was born August 24, 1965, in Walton, NY to Roger Northrup and Linda J (Babcock) Northrup.

Steven was a 1984 Graduate of Walton Central School.  He worked at BJ's in Oneonta NY as a stock clerk. Steven loved spending time with his family and Friends and could often be found in the local restaurants having dinner with his mother. Steven would spend hours rebuilding and repairing Computers. Steven had a great love for owls and had a large collection of owl paintings, figurines, and pictures.

He is survived by his mother Linda J Northrup of Walton, brothers Andrew (Lori) of Trout Creek, Tim (Amanda) of Walton, Niece Heather (James) Gardner of Trout Creek, Kassidi Northrup (Daren) of Trout Creek, Tessa Church of Walton, Tylee Northrup of Walton,Great Nephew and Niece Caysin and Elaine Gardner of Trout Creek, several cousins and special friends Jason, Jodie and Coralee Schwartz of Walton.

Steven was predeceased by his father Roger Northrup on January 24, 2015.

Calling hours will be held on Friday August 23, 2024, 2PM-4PM at Courtney Funeral Home 25 Townsend Street Walton, NY, services will begin immediately after calling hours at 4PM.

A graveside service will be held Saturday August 24,2024 at 12PM at Walton Cemetery in Walton, NY
