Sunday D. Jagacki, 48, of Walton, passed away early Saturday morning, October 17, 2009 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, following a long illness.

Sunday was born on February 5, 1961 in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Frank and Louise Schettler Jagacki.

She had been employed first as a CNA and later as Activities Director at Countryside Care Center, Delhi. Most recently she was a manager for several years at McDonalds Restaurant in Walton until her illness forced her retirement.

Children were a large part of Sunday's life, not only raising her own but also helping as a Foster Parent. Sunday enjoyed gardening, she not only raised vegetables but also liked to grow flowers and plants.

She is survived by her significant other, Bill Harrison; three daughters, Heather A. Harrison (George Klinger) of Delhi, Samantha L. Harrison of Walton and Ruth C. Harrison of Walton; granddaughter, Alexus Klinger of Delhi; brother, Josh (Teri) Jagacki of Detroit, MI; two sisters, Louise (Mike) Schraldi of Lancaster, PA and Christina (John) Soucek of New Hampshire; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Besides her parents, Sunday was predeceased by her brother William Jagacki.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, with the Rev. Don Crossman officiating. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
