It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan M. Banks, 75 who left us on October 20, 2025, at UHS Wilson in Johnson City, NY.  Susan was born on March 5, 1950 to Joseph Francies and Margot Kress, in Peekskill, NY.

Susan enjoyed spending time with her daughter Heather and her pack of dogs whom she cherished.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband, James Banks of 57 years married,  her children, Heather Thomas and spouse John Thomas ,sisters Carol Gurran and Louann (Mike) Hayes several nieces and nephews.

Susan was predeceased by her parents whom she loved dearly and several four-legged friends whom we are sure were waiting for her.

Calling hours will be held at the Courtney Funeral Home in Walton, NY, Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 12pm-2pm with service at 2pm with family officiating.
