Susan J. Palmatier, 94, of Bainbridge, formerly of Walton, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at home.

Susan was born on April 30, 1923 in Loomis Brook, the daughter of the late Jay and Edna (Franks) Schultes.

Susan worked for American Plastics in Bainbridge for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, fishing, camping, going to parades, and taking rides, enjoying the scenery.

Susan is survived by her children, Charlotte Jones of Walton, NY; James Gordon of Schenectady, NY; Shirley (Chester) Sherman of KY; Edward Palmatier of Walton; Carolyn Vandermark of Bainbridge, NY; Joyce Stanton of Walton, NY; Barbara Roger of TN; 24 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, David and Larry.

A graveside service will be held in Masonville Cemetery on Monday, July, 10, 2017 at 1PM. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
