Theodore Hunt, 84 of Walton, passed away Sunday in the Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, following an accident at his home.

Ted was born in Pompton Plains, NJ on September 2, 1923 the son of the late Charles and Helen (Brown) Hunt. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WW-II He married the former Kathryn Fritz on Oct 8, 1949 at Pompton Plains, NJ. Ted owned a trucking company in Pompton Plains, retiring in 1979. Following retirement he and Kathryn moved to the farm in Walton where they raised beef and heifers. He was an avid New York Yankees fan.

Ted is survived by his wife, Kathryn, 3 daughters, Lorraine (John) Park, Malvern, Pennsylvania; Kathy (Spencer) Goldman, Bloomsbury, NJ; Barbara (Al Mouradian) Hunt, Pompton Plains, 6 grandchildren, Heather, Kimberly, Michael, Matthew, Brianna, Larissa, 1 brother, Charles (June) Hunt, Hewitt, NJ; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Austin, Pompton Plains, Gail (Richard) DiLaura, Pompton Plains, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his special friend Bobby Seugling, Pompton Plains.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
