IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas E.
Coffin
June 23, 1961 – July 29, 2025
In Loving Memory of Thomas "Tommy" Coffin
Thomas Coffin, lovingly known as "Tommy" or "Tom" to his friends and family, of Walton, NY, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, at the age of 64. Tommy was born on June 23, 1961, in Westwood, NJ, to John Phillip Coffin and Arlene Margaret Stewart (Kovalsky).
A devoted father, loyal friend, and proud union brother, Tommy will be remembered for his warm personality, generous spirit, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for antiquing and loved attending auctions with his lifelong friend Darrell—a hobby that brought him both treasures and stories that he shared with those around him.
Tommy was most at peace outdoors. He especially treasured the annual camping trips at Lake Wallenpaupack with his daughters, Kristen and Jen, where memories were made year after year. He also loved spending time at the Jersey Shore, a place that brought him comfort and joy throughout his life.
After relocating to Walton in the early 2000s, Tommy quickly became a familiar face in the community. He had a rare gift for connecting with others and made friends wherever he went. He was a proud member of Laborers Local 754, dedicating many years of hard work and camaraderie to his trade.
Tommy is survived by his beloved daughters, Kristen Coffin of Jersey City, NJ, and Jennifer (Jen) Coffin of Cresskill, NJ.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, John Coffin and Arlene Stewart (Kovalsky), as well as his brother George Coffin and sister Sherrie Lorenzini.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor his memory by enjoying the outdoors, sharing a good story, or simply remembering him with a smile.
A celebration of life will be held at a time to be announced at the family's convenience
