Thomas J. McGauley, 74, of Walton formerly of New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at home in Walton.

Thomas was born September 11, 1937 in Hoboken, NJ, the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Brophy) McGauley. He was married to Nancy Hannan, she predeceased him on March 4, 2004.

Tom was employed by Edwards Engineering in Pompton Plains, NJ as a Supervisor. Tom enjoyed collecting beer mugs.

Tom is survived by his daughters, Michele Craig of Newark, Janice D'Martino of NJ, Denise McDonnell of NJ; his son, Joseph McGauley of NJ; his stepchildren, Daniel (Donna) Fernley, Nancy McNamara of Walton, NY; 9 granchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, NY.

Burial will be in the spring in the Carroll Cemetery, Trout Creek, NY.
