Thomas Thorakos, 77, of Walton, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris.

Tom was born on August 16, 1937 in Brooklyn, the son of the late Sarantos and Katherine (Chenes) Thorakos. He was self-employed for many years as pest exterminator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening of all sorts of flowers, plants and trees. He was a member of the NRA. He was of the Greek Orthodox faith.

Tom is survived by his loving family, his son, Steven Thorakos, Walton; daughter in law Theresa; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Michael; sisters, Helen Pinkston, Washington State; Chriss Licciardello, Brooklyn; and Valerie Guillot, Brooklyn.

Services for Tom will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
