Thomas G Travis, age 52, of Walton passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Delaware Valley Hospital of Walton.

He was born October 28, 1958 in Walton. He is the son Harry and Isabelle (Wood) Travis. He married Rosemary Bickham on March 7, 1980 at Johnson City, New York.

Thomas proudly served his country in the Navy from 1976 until1978.

Thomas enjoyed camping with his family, going to Virginia Beach, and spending time with his grandson, Joseph.

He is survived by his wife; Rosemary (Bickham) Travis, his mother; Isabelle Beers, Walton;his son; Eric (Peggy) Travis, Walton; Sara Baldwin, Walton; his sister; Molly Darville, Walton; and three brothers; David Beers, Walton; Dennis (Marie) Beers, New York City ;John (Ann) Beers, Greene; one grandson, Joseph Travis; one aunt, Beverly Stanton, VA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his fathers, Harry Travis and Orrin W. Beers and his brother, Joseph Beers.

Friends and family are invited to call Friday, November 5, 2010 from 3PM to 5PM and 6PM to 8PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 1PM with Rev. Mark Maine and Rev. Bert More officiating.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11AM in the Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton.
