In Loving Memory of Beulah and Stanley’s Daughter, Tina

March 7, 1968 – November 5, 2026

With broken hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter ,sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully surrounded by son much love on November 5, 2026, at the age of 58.

She was a strong, independent, intelligent, and incredibly brave woman with a personality that was truly one of a kind. Anyone who knew her knew she was stubborn, sometimes beyond words, but that same stubbornness was part of what made her such a fighter. She faced many struggles throughout her life, but she never allowed those struggles to define her or take away her determination to keep going.

Above everything else, she was a grandmother, and her grandchildren were her entire world. They were her greatest motivation, her biggest accomplishment, and the reason she fought so hard through life’s challenges. She never missed an opportunity to tell them how proud she was of them, and she carried their drawings and little treasures close to her heart. Being their grandmother was a title she wore with more pride than anything else in this world.

In recent years, she made accomplishments that deserve to be celebrated. She worked hard to get her life on track for her children and grandchildren, achieved goals she had worked toward, purchased a new car, and was so proud of her new home. These were not just material accomplishments; they represented her determination, independence, and the life she worked so hard to build. We hope she knew just how proud we were of every step she took and every obstacle she overcame.

She had a heart for animals and a special passion for saving and caring for those who needed her. She loved her coffee (with a special thank-you to Dunkin’ of Sidney, NY!), rock music, old cars, and collecting her beloved bear knickknacks. She treasured every drawing made by her grandchildren and found joy in the little things that made life special. She loved the beach and always dreamed of returning to Florida, where she could someday live near the ocean.

She was incredibly proud of her family and absolutely adored her sons-in-law, Larry and George. She took great pride in the men they were and the families they helped build. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and family was something that could never be measured.

She leaves behind her daughters, Tara Brooker (Larry Kern) of Sidney and Ashley Brooker (Jose ) of Sidney , her beloved grandchildren, Jasmine Ildefonso (Lubbi) (Ashten Savory) of Sidney, Isabella Kern (Bubbi) of Sidney, Hayden Gordon (babe) of Sidney, and Nicholas Ildefonso (babe) (Zaharah Abdushahid) of Sidney; her son-in-law, George Nash of Walton; her sister, Sandra Rieman of Walton; and Stanley Kerschner Jr. of Pennsylvania, along with many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and the many wonderful friends and coworkers who became part of her life, especially those at the Quality Inn in Oneonta, NY.

She was predeceased by her father, Stanley O. Kerschner of Walton; her mother, Beulah M. Kerschner of Walton; her brothers, John (Randy) Kerschner of Walton and Glen Kerschner of Pennsylvania; her aunt, Bonnie L. Schreier (Yale) of Sidney, NY; her beloved friend, Joshua A. Gordon, whom she loved like a son, of Troy, NY; and all of her beautiful fur babies who held a special place in her heart.

The last few months of her life showed us a strength and courage that words could never fully describe. She fought with everything she had. She was brave, bold, and determined, and we hope she knew how deeply we admired her strength. We are so incredibly proud of the fight she fought and the love she carried through it all.

Mom, we hope you know how proud we are of you. We are proud of the life you rebuilt, the goals you accomplished, the home you made, the battles you faced, and most of all, the love you gave us. Life will never be the same without you, and there will forever be an empty space in our hearts that no one could ever fill.

When we look up at the stars or watch the beautiful colors of a sunset, we will think of you. We will know you are still with us, watching over all of us, just as you always did.

We love you beyond anything words could ever express. And if love alone could have saved you, you would have been here for eternity.

Until we meet again, Mom. We will carry you with us forever. Sleep in forever peace .
