Travis James Terry, 34, passed away unexpectedly while surrounded by his family on April 5th, 2024. He was born to Shawna Marie Fairbarn and James Edward Terry on January 5th, 1990.
Travis is survived by his loving family. His fiancé Brooke Rylie Adam, his sons, Travis James Terry Jr. and Parker Owen Cash. And daughter Tinsley Olivia Endress. His parents Shawna M. Fairbairn and James E. Terry (Rebecca). His sisters, Nicolle Makenzi Lynn(Johnathan) of Oklahoma, Jillian Paige Kinnetz (Tyler) of Endicott, NY, and Rachel Madison Yvonne Terry (Matt Guile) of Walton, NY, and brother Jase William Terry of Walton, NY; his maternal grandmother Diane Grasso of Downsville, NY. Travis is also survived by many special friends, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Travis is predeceased by grandfather, Edd "Pop" Terry, grandmother, Lilivine Terry, and great uncle, James Murphy.
To know Travis was to love him. He was an old soul who always had the best jokes and gave the best hugs. His main priority everyday was being the best man he could be while providing for his family. He was a natural protector, never missed an activity for his kids, and was a true family man. Travis was a logger and truly enjoyed what he did. He loved hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. If you've ever sat around a dinner table with him, you've definitely heard about all of his adventures.
Since childhood, demolition derby has been a huge part of Travis's life. It's something he loved to do more than anything. He has passed that love to his son, Travis "Mister" James Terry, Jr. We hope everyone keeps his spirit alive on the track forever, including Mister when his time comes to participate and experience what his dad loved to do so much.
Travis was the kind of person you didn't come by very often. He was always happy. He was always making everyone laugh. He had the biggest heart. He would have moved mountains for his family, friends and anyone who needed help in any way.
Travis will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor and his selflessness. He was the best father, partner, son, brother, friend, and person.
He touched so many lives, and will continue to. He will be forever missed.
