Veda Louise Alexander Thomson, 91 of West Brook, Walton, died peacefully in her own home, October 1, 2006 after a short illness.

Veda was born in Walton the daughter of the late David and Jennie Bartow Alexander.

A life long resident of Walton, Veda and Milt ran a Guernsey farm for many years. A popular couple, Milton and Veda were very active within the Delaware County Fair Association, the Walton Grange and the 4-H. They were devoted members of the United Presbyterian Church. Veda was known for her gracious, thoughtful and calm demeanor.

Surviving are her most loved grandchildren Jason and his wife Heather, Damien, and Angela Thomson, and daughter in law Katie. Also surviving are twin great-grandsons of just 3 weeks, Bronson Douglas and Cameron James. Veda was predeceased by her husband Milton and son Douglas.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St. Walton, from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the United .Presbyterian Church 58 East St., Walton, Wednesday, October 4,2006 at 3PM, with the Rev. Thomas Ballard officiating.
