Verna Lenox, 82 of Delhi, passed away early Monday morning in the Countryside Care Center, Delhi, after a long illness.

Verna was born on June 20, 1925 in Binghamton, the daughter of the late Elmer and Helen (Weiss) Lenox. She was of the Protestant faith.

Verna is survived by a brother, Robert Lenox, Walton, 2 sisters, Marian Lenox, Irene Lenox, both of Otsego. She was predeceased by a brother Lewis Lenox.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St, Walton, where services will be held at 11 AM with the Rev. Jennifer Matison Juliano, officiating. Interment will be in Walton Cemetery in the spring.
