Vilma Landau, 83, of Bloomville, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford.

Vilma was born on May 10, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York.

Vilma took pleasure in knitting, bird watching, watching TV (especially her favorite programs, The Price Is Right and the Lawrence Welk Show), reading and looking at magazines, and tending to the flower garden. She enjoyed all holidays and was usually the one to say grace at the dinner table.

Vilma is survived by her loving family; her companion, Anna Conklin of Stamford, her caretakers; Adam, Janet and Michael Billek of Bloomville, and good friend; Davionne Price of Oneonta. She also leaves behind many other special friends that she loved dearly.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 11AM to 1PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton. A Funeral Service will follow at 1PM at the Courtney Funeral with Pastor Dale Ashby officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 10:00AM at the Riverside Cemetery in Bloomville with the Rev. Dale Ashby, officiating.
