Vincent Knott 63 of Walton passed away early Sunday morning, June 10, 2007 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown after a short illness.

Vincent was born in Jamaica, Queens on July 28, 1943 the son of the late James and Alice Castiglia Knott. On June 5, 1965 he married the former Rosanne Valentino. He was self employed as a mortgage consultant in Nassau County. Vincent enjoyed fishing and was a "Mr. Fixit" around home. He loved his family and was affectionately known as Pop-Pop to his grandchildren.

Vincent is survived by his loving wife, Rosanne, 3 daughters, Kathleen (Joseph) Cuomo, Walton, Lisa (Michael) Bourhill, Crompond, NY; Allyson Knott, Huntington, NY; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Vincent, and Michael; mother in law, Yolanda Pesce, Walton; a brother, James (Marie)Knott, Long Island; 2 sisters, Alice DeSantis, Atlanta, Marie (Bruce) Kennedy, Long Island.and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St, Walton on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 11 AM at the Church of St. John, Benton Ave., Walton, with the Rev. Michael Flannery, officiating. Burial will follow at Walton Cemetery.
