Viola E. McEntee, age 88, of Walton passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 at O'Connor Hospital in Delhi.

Viola was born April 25, 1922 in Lakewood, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward and the late Nellie (Barrows) Card.

She was employed by Broome Development as a Family Care Provider and Delaware Valley Hospital as a Nurse's Aide then became a Home Health Aide where she worked right up until her illness.

Viola was very proud of her Native American Heritage.

She is survived by one daughter; Myrna (Al) Drumm, Sidney Center, NY; one brother; Leslie (Erma) Card, Masonville, NY; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Viola was predeceased by her daughter; Myrtle Biggs McEntee; an infant son; her brothers; Everett, Phillip, Virgil, Clifford, and her sisters; Myra and Emma.

A Memorial Service will be held on November 6, 2010 at 10:00AM at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.
