Betsy Munn, 71, of Walton NY, passed away on August 10, 2025, at Wilson Hospital following a long illness.

Betsy was born on August 20, 1953, in Walton, NY, to Richard and Margery Webb. She was a devoted wife to Art Munn for 51 years and a loving mother to Shane, Andrew, Nathan, and Adam.

For much of her adult life, Betsy ran Webb's Clothing Store, a third-generation family business. Anyone who visited the store knew they were greeted by her loyal dog, Pip, as well as by Betsy's warm presence and kind spirit.

Betsy's greatest joy was her family, and she believed deeply in the importance of gathering around the dinner table for her nightly home-cooked meal. Sunday dinners were particularly special. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and cherished moments spent on trips with her sisters, Ellen and Nancy. She enjoyed quilting, reading, playing card games with her grandkids, and in recent years, working on puzzles. She also took delight in socializing with friends and family, always making everyone feel welcome.

Betsy is survived by her husband, Art; her children, Andrew (Jody) Munn of Unadilla, NY, and Nathan (Kami) Munn of Homer, NY; her grandchildren, Samuel, Joshua, Lucas, and Lula Munn; and her sisters, Ellen (Mark) Rienhardt and Nancy (David) Gleason. She was preceded in death by her children, Shane and Adam, and her grandchildren, Ryan, Travis, and Lena Munn.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 16, from 2-5 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home. A service celebrating Betsy's life will take place at The United Presbyterian Church on Sunday, August 17, at 11:30 AM. A graveside service will follow at the Walton Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join the Munn family in honoring her memory.
