Wanda J. Grotevant, 78 of Walton, passed away Thursday evening, December 15, 2005 in Delaware Valley Hospital, after a long illness.

Mrs. Grotevant was born in Hamden, the daughter of the late Ichabod and Ora Walcott Sprague, on June 22, 1927. She was employed for over 30 years at Breakstone´s. She married LeRoy Grotevant, who died in February 1970.

She is survived by one son, Jimmie and his wife Nancy Grotevant of Canadensis, PA, 2 step children, Stephen Grotevant, and Sandra Paulino, two sisters: Helen Condon, and Beulah Houck, both of Walton, two grandsons, Justin and Dylan Grotevant, and a niece, Judy Byrnes of Otego. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Grotevant, and a brother, Ivan Sprague.

Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, December 18, 2005, from 1-3 PM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St, Walton, where services will be held at 3:00 PM, with the Rev. Jennifer Matson Juliano officiating.
