It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William A. "Bill" Bundy, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, who left us on January 8, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on October 15, 1953, in New Berlin, New York, to Dorothy and Adrien Bundy, Bill lived a life rich in love, laughter, and curiosity.

Bill was raised in New Berlin and graduated from Morris Central School in 1972. He went on to earn an electrical degree from SUNY Delhi in 1973, beginning a long and successful career as an electrician. He worked for many years at Saputo in Delhi, New York, a company known by several names over the years, where he was respected for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.  He also worked at Bendix and Breakstones for a short time.

On January 20, 1979, Bill married the love of his life, Donna Northrup, in Walton, New York. Together they built a beautiful life and raised two children, Lisa Bundy of Sidney and Keith Bundy of Walton. Bill was an incredibly proud grandfather to Liam and Lilly Bundy, whom he loved beyond words. His family meant everything to him, and he shared a special bond with his nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom he loved dearly.

Bill had a lifelong passion for learning and discovery. He loved technology, airplanes, casinos, and traveling, especially cruises and bus trips, and he never wanted grass to grow under his feet, he was always on the move and eager for the next adventure. Those who knew him will remember his kind heart, wonderful sense of humor, and his ability to make others feel welcome and valued.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Bundy; his children, Lisa Bundy and Keith Bundy; his grandchildren, Liam and Lilly Bundy; and his brother, James Bundy (Marilyn) of Ohio and brothers-in- law, Marvin Northrup (Shannon) of South Carolina and Walter Northrup (Deb) of Oneonta. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Bundy.

Bill's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.

Family and friends will gather to honor Bill's life and legacy in a graveside service that will celebrate the joy and love he brought into the world. The graveside service will be held at Walton Cemetery in the spring.
