William C. Lupo, 57, of Walton passed away unexpectedly, Monday, April 2, 2012 at Delaware Valley Hospital.
Bill was born on July 26, 1954 in Massapequa, NY; the son of the late Harry Lupo and Evelyn Ihne Saas.. On September 30, 1976 he married the former Doreen Neubauer.
He was employed by Don Tweedie Construction as a Truck Driver. He was a former member of the Teamsters Union in Long Island.
Bill was a former member of the Walton Fire Dept. He enjoyed Chris-Craft boats, working on his trucks, talking on the phone and hanging out with his friends at the Country Store. Bill will be remembered as someone who was good at anything that he set his mind to do. He was a jokester who always spoke his mind and above all he valued good friends.
Bill is survived by his loving family, his wife: Doreen, his children, Billie Jo (Mike) Klein, Walton, Luke (Sahara) Lupo, South New Berlin; and Frankie Lupo, Walton; his grandchildren, Steven, and Jamie Klein, Tatiana and Alexis Lupo, his Aunt Marie McCormick, Schenectady; his nephew, Charlie Lupo, Goose Creek, South Carolina and several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Chuck Lupo, on April 1, 2012.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 4 to 7 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton; where services will be held at 7 PM.
Memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be made to Walton Volunteer Fire Dept. & EMS, 59-61 West Street, Walton, NY 13856.
