William A. "Bill" Walley, 51 a lifelong resident of Walton, passed away Saturday evening, August 1, 2009 in the Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Bill was born in Walton, on May 7, 1958 the son of the late Charles and Eleanor (Hodge) Walley. He was a graduate of Walton Central School class of 1976. On December 4, 1982 he married the former Cynthia Burghart in Walton. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps "Semper Fi". He was an employee of Breakstone's, Walton for 28 years.

Bill enjoyed riding motorcycles, kayaking, fishing for smallmouth bass and hunting.

Bill is survived by his loving family, his wife, Cindy, sons, Cory Walley and Ethan (Lacey) Walley, daughter, Brook (Chris) Walley all of Walton, grandchildren, Aireonna Beardslee, Ella Beardslee, sister, Pat Rutherford, Endwell; mother and father in laws, Joan Frank and Bill and Dorothy Burghart, sister and brother in laws, Kim and Dave Gelsinan, Deb and John Boice, Nicky and John Carr, Derrick and Crystal Frank, Deb and Mike Furman, Terri and Bill Hoyt, Mike and Shelly Hogan,several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by a sister Barbara Buddenhagen.

Friends and relatives are invited to call Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY, where services will be held on Wednesday morning at 11 AM with Pastor Don Crossman, officiating..
