Obituary

William F. Yaiser III, 86, of Sidney Center, formerly of Park Ridge, NJ, passed away Friday evening, November 2, 2012 at Delaware Valley Hospital, following a long illness.

Bill was born on July 19, 1926 in Englewood, NJ, the son of the late William F. and Gertrude (Porter) Yaiser Jr. On August 27, 1970 he married the former Dorothy Cooper at Asbury Park, NJ. He was a graduate of Tenafly High School. He proudly served his country during WW II in the US Navy aboard the USS Eldridge (DE 173). Bill was employed as an electrician for IBEW Local 164 in Paramus, NJ for more than 55 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Walton, and the NRA.

Bill loved being home spending time with Dorothy and his kids and grandkids.

Bill is survived by his loving family, his wife, Dorothy, his children, Caryl Yaiser, Orlando, Florida; Glenn and Susan Yaiser, Vernon, NJ; Robin and Jay Logan, West Milford, NJ; his grandchildren, Geoff and Jessica Macleod, Caitlyn Underwood, Ryan Lyn Yaiser, Alyssa Yaiser, Danielle Logan and Jack Logan; sister, Barbara O'Conner, St. Petersburg, Florida; sister and brother in laws, Roberta and Ken Wood, Alabama; Eileen and Russ Albertson, NJ; Lynne and Gary Hartshorn, Portland Oregon; Virginia and John Lutt, Colorado; Evelyn and Bill Hitch, Alabama, special niece, Kathy Barringer, special friend, Fr. Michael Flannery, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Saint John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 17-25 Benton Avenue, Walton. There are no calling hours.
