Yvonne M. Wright, 75, of Walton passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Delhi Rehabilitation & Nursing Center following a long illness.

Yvonne was born on March 25, 1947 in Walton, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Thompson) Stanton. On November 15, 1985 she married Harold J. Wright. He died on November 17, 2001.

Yvonne worked as a Maintenance person at Park Terrace Adult Home for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing word searches.

Yvonne is survived by her loving family, her better half, Fred, children, James D (Stephanie) Wright of Afton; Jason Wright of Oneonta; Sheryl (Tyler) Crandall of Walton; grandchildren, Kylie (Matt), Zach, Diamond (Mark), Dahlia (Sam), Dominque (Tim), Harper, great grandchildren, Levi, Ava, Xavier, brothers, Donald (Tara) Stanton; Ronald (Shelley),Paul (Kathy) Wayne, Mike (Betty) Stanton, Eddie, Junie, sister, Lori Button, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Stanton.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton, NY at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.
