William "Poppy" Frederick Beckmann, 96, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, at the Veterans' Home in Oxford, NY. William was born in Brooklyn, NY, December 6, 1919; only child of Frederick and Pauline (Hoegler) Beckmann.
